In honor of Women’s Month, Walker’s Legacy is proud to launch its #BEENBOSS video series designed to take a deeper look into the contributions that women have made and continue to make in different fields. Each featured profile shines a light on what there women are doing to show the world why they have #BEENBOSS.
This video features Lidia Soto-Harmon, Chief Executive Officer for the Girls Scouts Council of the Nation’s Capital. The Girl Scouts believes in preparing every girls for a lifetime of leadership. Lidia instills in her girls the mindset to know that as a leader you have to be prepared to uplift others just as talented.

On August 25, 2010, she was appointed CEO of the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, after serving six years as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer.
