Moms Who Hustle: A Financial Planning and Entrepreneurship Program for Millennial Moms

Launching Spring 2017

Are you a single mother with a hustle?

There isn’t a day that goes by that you are not providing for your family. You may have a job or two or may be in the works of launching your dream business.

Are you a young, enterprising millennial women of color who to take control of your financial situation? like…. a Boss.

Well, Walker’s Legacy Foundation has an opportunity for you to manage your money and seek ways to reach your entrepreneurial aspirations with Moms Who Hustle.

Program Overview

Moms Who Hustle: A Financial Planning and Entrepreneurship Program for Millennials Moms will provide a financial literacy and entrepreneurship curriculum that helps single mothers of color take their finances and businesses to the next level.

The curriculum will leverage online and in person learning models:

  • 12 – week program, guided by instructors in various geographical locations that will be providing on-site child care
  • Access to financial planning tools and entrepreneurial insight to begin self-empowerment
  • Community, learning, and resources provided at your fingertips with Walker’s Legacy App

This unique opportunity allows you to gain financial knowledge within a 12-week time frame.

Courses will be provided every week for 12 weeks on a “one-week-on/one-week-off” basis. Because we understand your lifestyle, classes will be scheduled on-site every other week at a location near you with free daycare provided. And since a boss is never off duty, the weeks that you are not onsite you will be accessing your classes using Walker’s Legacy mobile app.

So, let’s put your family first by equipping the head of the household with the tools to financially excel!
