
Walker’s Legacy is proud to celebrate multicultural women in business and entrepreneurship with our annual Walker’s Legacy Power Awards.
Nominations are now open for this national recognition of notable women in business. Recipients may be leaders representing industries including, but not limited to, social entrepreneurship, business, technology, media, and real estate among others.
Past award recipients include Keisha Lance Bottoms, Mayor of the City of Atlanta, GA; Latanya Mapp Frett, Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Global; Tiffany Smith-Anoa’i, Executive Vice President of Entertainment Diversity, Inclusion, and Communications at CBS Entertainment; and Miko Branch, co-founder of Miss Jessie’s, among other notable honorees.
Submissions are open for women in geographical areas of Atlanta, Chicago, Charlotte, Detroit, Dallas, Houston, New York, Miami, Philadelphia, Washington, DC.
If you know a power woman deserving of recognition, we encourage you to nominate her for an award in her local community by July 31, 2018.
Honorees and supporters will be invited to attend their local Walker’s Legacy Power Awards Receptions to accept their awards.
The national celebration of all Power Honorees will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018, in Washington, DC during the Walker’s Legacy national business summit.
