Walker’s Legacy will host a PROSPECTUS Business Bootcamp in Washington, DC on January 12 – 13, 2017. The 2-day training intensive is for aspiring and existing womenpreneurs and will be hosted at WeWork Dupont Circle (Washington, DC).
As a primer to the Spring 2017 PROSPECTUS Accelerator Online Cohort, the boot camp allows multicultural businesswomen to learn more about a variety of business and entrepreneurship topics. The high-level accelerated bootcamp will utilize original Walker’s Legacy entrepreneurship curriculum, a cohort model, and an advanced learning environment to support the growth of the boot camp participants’ business operations. Courses include Developing an Effective Marketing & Promotional Plan, Contracting for Small Businesses, and Presenting for Investors, among five (5) others.
“Minority women are the fastest growing segment of entrepreneurs, yet studies continue to show us that women-of-color-owned businesses are less likely to be selected for funding from angel investors and other financial entities,” said Natalie Madeira Cofield, founder and CEO, Walker’s Legacy.
“We understand the importance of equipping this critical demographic with the tools and know-how needed to build and sustain their entrepreneurial ventures.”
With the upcoming PROSPECTUS Business Bootcamp, Walker’s Legacy continues to expand its PROSPECTUS entrepreneurship training portfolio.
