Walker’s Legacy, a platform for the multicultural woman in business and entrepreneurship, will honor twenty-five (25) female leaders.

Walker’s Legacy, a global platform for the professional and entrepreneurial multicultural woman,  is proud to announce the recipients of its Annual Power25 Awards hosted by WeWork Chicago, a global company that provides small businesses, startups, freelancers, large enterprises, and everyone in between with workspace, community, and services.

The Walker’s Legacy Power25 Chicago Awards program is part of a national effort by the organization to highlight the achievements of local business and community leaders.  In addition to Chicago, the partners will also honor women in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston and New York this fall.

Past honorees and speakers have included A’Lelia Bundles, Author and great-great granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker; Michele Thornton, Sr. Vice President of Centric TV; Janice Bryant Howroyd, CEO of Act 1 Group; and Dr. Laura G. Murillo, President/CEO of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

The awards reception will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at WeWork National Building, 125 S Clark St., Chicago IL 60603,US. The program will begin at 6:30pm with an exclusive WeWork location tour beginning at 6:00pm.
