Walker’s Legacy to Launch in Orlando

Walker’s Legacy, a growing national women in business collective designed to support women of color in business,  has announced plans to launch within its first Florida market, Orlando.

The launch will be chaired by Jamara Wilson, the new Orlando City Chair with plans to host their first event November 23rd at IZEA from 6-8PM in Orlando. Speakers scheduled for this kick-off event are Nancy Allen, President and CEO of the Women’s Business Development Council of Florida and Felecia Hatcher, Founder of Code Fever and Black Tech Week.

Jamara Wilson is the CEO and Founder of Tuxedo Impressions LLC™, a boutique company that provides modern business support to small businesses and nonprofits. Recently, she founded and launched Crafted Connections™, a series of exclusive networking events providing professionals with a customized networking experience. Jamara is the owner of His Majesty’s FavoriteTM, an insightful and inspirational blog written to help encourage self-growth and personal development. In addition to that, she blogs at Business Memos From a Gutsy Entrepreneur, a blog written about all things business as it relates to the journey of fearless entrepreneurs. Jamara takes an interest in community organizations and serves as Vice President of Public Relations for the Winter Park Toastmasters and a member of the Ambassador Council for the Citrus Club, an elite private business club in Orlando, FL that provides community leaders with the opportunity to enhance their professional and or social connections.
