Reporting to the Founder and CEO, the Managing Director (MD) will play a key role in overall strategic and operational responsibility for Walker’s Legacy, its programs, expansion, team, and execution of the organization’s mission. S/he will be responsible for maintaining and developing an in-depth knowledge of the organization, its core programs, operations, and business growth goals.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in strategic partnerships, fundraising, program planning and execution, administration and operations, marketing and communications and managing small, but productive, teams.
In many instances, the Managing Director will serve as ‘the face’ of Walker’s Legacy with external parties, at external events, and with our national network of partners and supporters.
The Managing Director will be responsible, with input from the CEO, for managing and growing our team, our relationships, our programming, and our offerings.
